Your New Favourite Smoothie

It’s here – it’s finally here. Your absolute new favourite smoothie recipe! We promise you that once you try this smoothie, you will become just as obsessed with it as we are. Our team as declared it the Strawberry Paradise Smoothie – it is equal parts delicious, refreshing and healthy.

Originally found on LaLa’s Plate, we have found a few ways tweak their recipe and make it our own! It’s great for a quick breakfast before work, mid day pick me up or even an after-dinner treat.

Give it a blend and let us know how you like it! We have a good feeling that it will quickly become a staple smoothie recipe in your life.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup ice

  • 1 medium frozen banana

  • 3/4 cup fresh or frozen strawberries

  • 1/4 cup frozen mango

  • 1/4 cucumber

  • 1 sprig fresh mint

  • 1 tsp chia seeds

  • 1/3 cup milk of choice

*Optional add: we love adding 1/2 cup of spinach for extra nutrients and iron*

*Optional add: 1 ½ tbsp vanilla protein powder*

Steps:

1.      Throw all the in ingredients into the (our favourite!) Ninja Blender and combine until it is smooth.

2.      Find your favourite cup and straw and pour right in.

3.      That’s it! Sip and enjoy!

*Pro tip: use an insulated travel cup to keep it cool for hours! *
