A year with Timber + Plumb

As my time with T + P comes to an end, I am reminded by a small note on my desk that change is scary but go for growth. This message was left at our Connecting event from another woman in business and has stuck with me since.

While change can be scary, it can also be the perfect time to reflect on what the last year has meant. I am thrilled of all we have accomplished at Timber + Plumb during this short but incredible time. From the Old Riverside Toy Drive, WETRA Up About Down Day, to the Sip for a Riesling Benefit and our Connecting event, I am so proud of our community outreach and work. The evenings spent at the studio workshops, endless laughs and growth that happened behind the screen has been even sweeter. Together, our team was small but mighty!

Over this year I have made impactful connections, learned more than I ever thought I could and have been able to really figure out what I want for my future. And just like that little note reminds me that even though these times can be uncomfortable and hard, there is so much beauty is growth.

I have no doubt that this is the tip of the iceberg for Markie and T+P. That her work within the design industry and our community is just getting started and will be felt in waves for years to come. I am so happy and grateful to have been a small part of this journey. My time with T + P may be coming to end but my support is not. The T+P team will always have a cheerleader in me!

Madeline.
